How do I change the players in a team's squad?

Click on any team's flag (in the match page or group panel) to open the Team Details modal. Navigate to the 'Squad Builder' tab where you can select or deselect players to build your custom 26-man roster.

Can I edit player ratings?

Yes! In the Squad Builder, click the 'Edit' button (pencil icon) next to any player. You can adjust their Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, and Physical stats. These changes will directly impact the AI simulation results.

How accurate is the AI simulation?

Our simulation engine uses a Monte Carlo method, running over 100,000 matches for each prediction. It factors in official ELO ratings, FIFA rankings, and your custom squad modifications to generate realistic probabilities.

Does the simulation save my progress?

Yes. Your progress is automatically saved to your browser's local storage. For permanent cloud storage and to access your predictions across multiple devices, we recommend signing in with your Google, Discord, or Email account.

What happens if I manually change a match score?

Manual overrides take precedence over AI simulations. The group standings and knockout bracket will automatically update to reflect your entered score. You can always revert to the AI prediction by clicking the 'Simulate' button again.

How do I share my bracket?

Click the 'Share' button in the main menu or header. You can generate a high-quality image of your predictions to share on social media, or copy a direct link to your bracket.

Is this the official tournament schedule?

Yes, the simulator uses the official match schedule, stadiums, and host cities for the 2026 World Cup as announced by FIFA.

About This Simulator

The World Cup 2026 Simulator is an interactive prediction tool that lets you explore the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This will be the first World Cup with 48 teams, expanded from the traditional 32-team format.
